About Us

Outdoor seating area with palm trees and a scenic view. — Sarasota Elks Lodge #2495
Outdoor seating area with palm trees and a scenic view.

Pull up a stool at the Tiki Bar on a warm Sarasota afternoon and you'll understand right away what makes Lodge #2495 different. The outdoor bar overlooks a shaded patio with umbrella tables and a small stage where live entertainment draws a crowd on weekend nights. Members here aren't shy about waving a stranger over, which is exactly why first-time visitors keep coming back.

The lodge sits off Rosin Way in south Sarasota, easy to find and surprisingly spacious once you're inside. Rated 4.6 out of 5 across 91 reviews, the food earns its own reputation, and the atmosphere feels more like a neighborhood gathering spot than a formal club. Traveling members passing through with RVs have pulled right up to the four electric-and-water hookups stationed conveniently beside the Tiki Bar, plugged in, and been invited to stay for dinner before the night was over.

The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks has been serving American communities since 1868, and Lodge #2495 carries that tradition into every fundraiser, veterans program, and youth scholarship it supports. The fun and the fellowship aren't separate from the mission here. They are the mission.

What We Offer

Lodge #2495 gives members more ways to connect than most clubs twice its size. The Tiki Bar is the social centerpiece, open on warm afternoons with plenty of bar seating, shaded tables, and a stage ready for live music. The dining room turns out good, honest food that members actually talk about in reviews, not just standard lodge fare.

Beyond the bar and kitchen, the lodge hosts regular events, community fundraisers, and charitable programs aligned with the national Elks mission, including veterans outreach, youth activities, and scholarship support. Traveling Elks members can take advantage of the RV hookups on the property, four sites with electric and water right next to the Tiki Bar, making a stopover in Sarasota a genuine highlight of any road trip.

Membership opens the door to all of it, along with reciprocal access to Elks lodges across the country. Whether someone is a lifelong Elk or just exploring membership for the first time, the welcome at Sarasota Elks Lodge #2495 is genuine and immediate.

"Excellent lodge very nice members. Our wife and I stopped by for two days with our 5th wheel RV which they had four electric and water hookups, conveniently next to the Tiki Bar. They invited us to their Black & White party with dinner and band. Great evening spent with club members. Looking forward to returning 😀"

The Elks gave America
Flag Day.

Long before it was a national observance, the Order set aside June 14th to honor the flag. Patriotism has always been one of our cardinal principles, and every lodge meeting still closes the same way it has for over a century.
